Mark Buhanan, 30, born May 17, 1983, peacefully passed away Friday, October 18, 2013 at his home in Santa Clara, Utah. He is survived by his parents Karl and Sharroll and siblings: Scott (Kelly), Lisa (Nathan), David (Ciaxia), Kurt (Britt-Marie), Brad (Natalie), and Sharry (Jared). Mark graduated with a Bachelors of Science from the University of Utah, majoring in Biology and minoring in Chemistry. He went on to pursue a graduate degree from Arizona State University, emphasizing in desert plant biology. He was a skilled artist and researcher. He served an LDS mission in Jackson, MS.
