IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Marni L.
Pahl
October 16, 1946 – January 12, 2022
A beautiful soul, wife, daughter, mother, sister and friend, Marni Pahl passed away peacefully at home in St. George, Utah on January 12, 2022. She was 75 years old.
Marni was the beloved wife of the late, Charles Pahl, and stepmother to his sons Christopher, Eric and Jason. She was the cherished daughter of Mary and Adrian T. Wisniewski, Sr. Marni was much loved by siblings A. Thomas Wisniewski, Jr. (Maureen Ross), the late Michael Wisniewski (Linda Heiderer), Margaret W. Brandt (Ron), James Wisniewski (Felicia), and Paul Wisniewski (Kristi). Marni will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, friends and colleagues from coast to coast.
Marni was a 1964 graduate of Holy Angels Academy where she was active in volunteer programs in the community. She received her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Wisconsin in Social Work and belonged to the Alpha Phi sorority.
Throughout her professional life, Marni dedicated herself to advancing feminist issues and civil rights causes. In her later years, she served the DOVE Center in St. George, Utah as Executive Director. She worked tirelessly for her church sharing the Eucharist and God's Word at Mass and with homebound parishioners. Marni also devoted a great deal of time and energy rescuing and caring for retired racing greyhounds. Her loyal companion, Henry, was at her side as she passed away. And if you knew Marni, you know how proud she was of her garden, especially her roses and her birds.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am at Saint George Catholic Church, 259 West 200 North in St. George, Utah. A luncheon for close friends and family will follow at Kuzy Hall behind the church.
Special thanks to Kent Sundberg and Georgina Hartmann for their love and friendship. And a special thank you to Jane Mruczek, her friend and partner in the Stephen Ministry.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in Marni's name would be appreciated. nationalmssociety.org
