Martha K. Meyers St George, UT - Martha K Meyers, 77, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2010. She was born July 9, 1933 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands to Arie Knollema and Johanna Bakker. After enduring the German occupation of Holland in World War II, she immigrated with her family to the United States. She married Donald H. Meyers, May 5, 1952, in Salt Lake City, UT who preceded her in death on August 11th, 2010. Martha had a pioneering spirit and was always looking to embark on a new adventure. She will always be remembered for her optimism and as a loving, selfless, compassionate, caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She is survived by her three children, Linda (David) King, Ft Worth, TX, Gregg (Marilyn) Meyers, West Valley City, UT, and Audrey Meyers, Midvale, UT, daughter-in-law Mary Meyers, Salt Lake City, UT, three grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and three sisters: Alida Crank, Mary Kinne, and Hermina Dickman all of St George, UT. A tribute to her life will be held, Saturday, September 4, 2010, 11:00 a.m. at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 W. St. George Blvd., St George, Utah followed by a graveside service at Tonaquint Cemetery.
