Veyo, UT - Marvin J Moomoo Chadburn passed away April 6, 2010 at his home in Veyo, Utah. He was born on July 16, 1919 in Central, Utah to John Lewis and Mable Knell Chadburn. He grew up in Central and Veyo, Utah. He had a twin brother and five sisters. He attended school in Veyo. On August 28, 1940, he married Metta Bowler. The marriage was later solemnized in the St. George Temple. He served in the Navy in WWII at Dutch Harbor. He was proud to have served his Country. He was a carpenter by trade and worked hard doing finish carpentry. He and Metta owned the Veyo Merc for years making lots of memories that will be cherished forever. He is survived by his children: Bruce, Perry & Lucille (Robie) and Lil Barron. He had nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, wife Metta and daughter Karen Lee. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 12, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Veyo LDS Chapel, 176 East Center St., Veyo, UT. A visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:30 am prior to services at the Chapel. Interment will be at the Veyo Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Metcalf Mortuary, (435) 673-4221.
