Hurricane, Utah - Marvin J. Holloway, 57, passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2013 due to a long illness. He was born December 24, 1955 in Dregerton, Utah to Marin A. and Barbara Monson Holloway. He married Meliss Hastings in Green River, Utah. They were later divorced. He married Christine Leach in Page, Arizona. He had two brothers, Bob Holloway and Lester Holloway; and two sisters, Charlean Hall and Cathy Coltard.

Marvin went to school and got his GED, then went on to join the U.S. Marines Corp where he served two years. After graduating from American Diesel and Automotive College, he went to work at Millwright Union for 20 years. He had a big passion for cars, Marines and motorcyles. He also enjoyed and taught Tae Kwon do and was a black belt. He also had a big heart and wanted to help everyone. He lived his life like each day was his last. He loved to travel to different places. He never went a day without a smiling or laughing. He will be loved and deeply missed.

Graveside services will be held Friday, April 26, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hurricane City Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Metcalf Hurricane valley Mortuary, (435) 635-9922.
