Hurricane, UT - Mary Lusk Anderson Husby, 93, passed away at the Hurricane Beehive Home Sunday, August 22, 2010. She was born December 21, 1916 in Malad, Idaho to Thomas Jenkins Lusk and Marie Williams. She was married to Clark (Bud) Anderson in 1938. They had three children. She was later divorced and married Orrin Husby in 1962. Their marriage was later solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple. She was a teacher by profession, having taught in Utah, Idaho and Nevada. She was an active member of The L.D.S. Church, Delta Kappa Gamma and the American Legion Auxiliary. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her sister, Margaret Larsen; her husband, Orrin; two sons: Clark Anderson (Maurine) and Dale Anderson (Judy); daughter, Bernice Christensen (Steve); nine grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Tom Lusk; and sisters: LaVena Christensen, Rhea Jensen and Donna Buttars. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 28, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Hurricane LDS 15th Ward Chapel, 1178 South 700 West, Hurricane, Utah. Visitation will be held Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at the Chapel, prior to services. Interment will be at the Hurricane City Cemetery.
