Mary Lou Lynch, 94, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and service. Born in 1930, she dedicated her life to family, faith, and community, always bringing warmth and joy to those around her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 56 years, H. Norris Lynch; parents, Gladys and Hugh Connors; brother, John Connors; daughter-in-Law Nola Lynch; and granddaughter, Angie Clifford.

Mary Lou is survived by her children: Sue Clifford, Jim Lynch, John Lynch, Rick (Char) Lynch, and Tom Lynch. She was a cherished grandmother to Amy Clifford and Emilie (Carlos) Archuleta, Crissy Quinn and Jonni Maurer, Ricky (Stephanie) Lynch, and Hannah Lynch and Madison Lynch. Her love extended to her great-grandchildren as well as her great-great-grandchildren.

A proud graduate of Colorado State University, Mary Lou was deeply involved in her community and church. She served for many years as a Candy Striper at St. Luke's and was a devoted lifelong member of St. Michael's Episcopal Church. Her beautiful musicianship graced the congregation for decades as she played the organ for services. Alongside Norris, she also volunteered at the church's thrift shop and bookstore, always seeking ways to give back.

Beyond her dedication to faith and service, Mary Lou found joy in many hobbies. She was an avid gardener, taking special pride in harvesting and preserving fruits and vegetables- especially from her beloved grapevines. A talented seamstress and knitter, she poured love into everything she created. She was an enthusiastic member of several book clubs, dream groups, and the Irish American Club. She had a sharp mind for games like cribbage and was known for her thoughtfulness in sending cards and letters to loved ones.

Mary Lou's kindness, generosity, and unwavering spirit will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She had an infectious smile, a deep love for her family, and a quiet strength that touched countless lives. Whether watching her favorite sports on TV or simply sharing a moment of laughter, she made every moment special.

A celebration of Mary Lou's life will be held at a later date at St. Michael's Cathedral. Following the service, her urn will be placed in the columbarium.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her memory to the charity of your choice.
