Washington, UT - Our beloved mother, Mary Juliette Fullmer Haycock passed away February 13, 2010 at the Beehive Homes in Washington, Utah. Mary was 100 years old and had lived a long and full life. She was born in Circleville, Utah on October 25, 1909, the sixth child of Edgar Pierce Fullmer and Ellen Amanda Meeks. She had three sisters and three brothers, Lola (A.O. Smoot), Arlo Edgar Fullmer (Eventa), Illa Schmidlin (Jerry), Rex Fullmer (Adell), Reva Smith (Lionel), and Joseph Merrill Fullmer (Uarda). She lived and worked in Circleville where she met and married Judd Haycock February 7, 1930. They were later solemnized in the Mesa LDS Temple February 6, 1965. She also lived in Phoenix, Arizona and St. George, Utah. Mary enjoyed life working in her yard, crocheting, quilting, basketball (The Jazz) and especially her family. She worked many years in the Temple. Mary is survived by her two daughters, Diania Ruttan (Don) of Michigan and Beverly Pendleton (Keith) of St. George, Utah; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Judd Haycock, three sisters, 3 brothers, grandson, Devon Ruttan, and her parents. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 22, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at Metcalf Mortuary Chapel, 288 W. St. George Blvd., St. George, Utah. Visitations will be held Sunday, February 21st from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the mortuary, prior ro services. Interment will be at the Circleville Cemetery, Circleville, Utah. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Metcalf Mortuary, (435) 673-4221.
