St. George, Utah – Mary Ann Leatham, aged 91, passed away 16th of March 2023 while resting in her home, surrounded by her grandsons. She was born on the 7th of March 1932 in Clarinda, Iowa to Roscoe P. Whipple and Lena Charlotte Behrens. She was married to Rex B. Leatham on the 22nd of November 2014 in Washington, Utah.

She married Robert W. Snyder in Iowa in 1949 and had two children. The family moved to Las Vegas where Mary Ann worked for the Fabulous Flamingo Resort and Casino for several years. Mary Ann would later be known by the names of D'Marcos, Hartman and Wasserman until she finally met and married her Rex and lived happily ever after in St. George, Utah.

She is survived by sister, Lucy Jeanne Stanton and family of Omaha, Nebraska; and her grandchildren: Eric Snyder of Omaha, Nebraska; Amy Remington of St. George, Utah; Kyle Snyder and wife Marta of Omaha, Nebraska, and their son Henryk; Kayli Armstrong of Washington, Utah and her daughters, Anniyah, Breyann and son, Robby; and Jon Snyder and wife Annie of Omaha, Nebraska and their daughters, Lilly and Reese and son, Beauden. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rex B. Leatham; four prior spouses; her son, Robert D. Snyder; her daughter, Marlene Remington; and her great grandson, Oliver Snyder.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the Morningside Stake Center, 881 South River Road, St. George, Utah. A visitation will be held Tuesday, prior to services, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at the Stake Center.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. in the Mount Pleasant City Cemetery, Mount Pleasant, Utah.
