Washington, UT - Mary Sophia Rushton, 98, passed away March 4, 2010, in St George Utah. Mary was born February 13th, 1912 to Ephraim and Phoebe Swain. She was the oldest of 9 children. She married Leslie Mitchie, deceased. She married Chris Rushton, they were married 50+ years. Chris past away in 1999. Mary is survived by son, Dale and Barbara Rushton; 2 step-daughters, Janis and Golden Coon, Verla Kingsbury; plus many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 8 siblings. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 11, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Heber LDS 3rd Ward Chapel,240 East 400 South, Heber, Utah. Visitation will be held Thursday from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the chapel, prior to services. Interment will be at the Heber City Cemetery.
