St. George, Utah - Mary Jean Sorensen died February 19, 2018 in St. George, Utah. She was born August 20, 1931 in Bakersfield, California to Arthur Pratt and Norma Larsen.

Mary spent her life as a loving mother, school teacher and a translator for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stuart Sorensen, and is survived by her children and their spouses: Rebecca (Scott) Bennion, Rafael G. (Gloria) Juarez, Larry (Sandy) Juarez, Christina (Connell) Durham; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Graveside services and Interment were Thursday, February 22nd at 11:00 a.m. at the Kanarraville City Cemetery.
