Ivins, Utah - Our beloved mother, MaryAnn DeVere, left this world on January 6, 2014 to be with our Lord and countless relatives and friends that she touched during her life time. She had many talents. She sculpted clay into works of art. She could sew any outfit from scratch. She had a generous heart with all who knew her. She had a great sense of humor, loved bingo and crosswords. MaryAnn is survived by her children: David (Karel), Jay (Bobbie), Denise, Michael and Perry; 10 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchidlren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, SGM Don DeVere. She will be missed dearly. We offer a special thank you to the nurses and care givers of the Southern Utah Veterans Home. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. George Dixie Elks Lodge #1743, 630 West 1250 North, St. George, Utah.
