Obituary

Toquerville, Utah - Matthew Blair Madsen, 26, left his earthly home on April 26, 2024. Matthew is reunited with his Heavenly Father and his loved ones on the other side - grandparents, great grandparents, and many friends.

As a child, Matt loved to go to the grocery store and wink at the ladies to make them laugh. He wanted to make others smile.  Matt would always befriend the underdog.  He never had a bad word to say about anybody. His laugh was contagious.

Matt loved to sing and play the Ukulele.  He liked to take things apart and put them back together.

He had musical and artistic talents.  He loved scouting and was an Eagle Scout.

Matt's Dad traveled for work, so he had the opportunity to live in Washington, Texas, South Carolina, Utah, Arkansas, and Colorado.

Matt graduated from Dixie Tech on May 1, 2023, in Precision Machining.  Matt loved the outdoors and loved to hike. He played board games.  He enjoyed a penny-pinching simple lifestyle.

Matthew is survived by his sister, Stephanie Madsen, Cedar City, Utah; parents, Blair and Judy Madsen; Saint George, Utah; grandparents, Ralph and Eileen Siebert; Murray, Utah; as well as Aunts, Uncles, and cousins that loved him.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, May 6, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at the Santa Clara City Cemetery, 1950 Ancestor Way, Santa Clara, Utah.
