St. George, UT - loving mother and grandmother, Merrille Anna Graff Glover passed away peacefully on January 3, 2012 in St. George, Utah at the age of 97. She was born on April 10, 1914 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Charles Jacob Graff and Georgianna Dobbs.

After graduating from Jordan High School, she married her high school sweetheart, Elmer Robert Glover on March 10, 1933 in Los Angeles, CA; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple in 1939. They enjoyed 71 years together.

Merrilles life was one of service to her family, her church and the community. She was a faithful member of the LDS Church and a member of the D.U.P. Merrille was a voracious reader and loved gaining knowledge through books. She made beautiful quilts, loved to golf, travel by auto, talk politics and she made the best carrot pudding in the world.

Merrille is survived by her five children: Anne (Erv) Dunton, Claudia Joan Johnson, Marian (Jim) Potter, Robert Elmer (Arlene) Glover and Cherie (Dean) Snarr; 20 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; and 21 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer; her parents; three siblings: Virginia Palen, Ted Graff and Goldie Charlene Carroll; and two great-grandchildren: Katie Jensen and Chad Wayman.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Santa Clara 2 ^rd Ward LDS Chapel, 1706 Desert Dawn Drive, Santa Clara, Utah. A visitation will be held from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. prior to services at the chapel. Interment will follow at the Santa Clara City Cemetery.
