Leeds, UT - Michael Walter Buhler, 68, passed away on July 21, 2023, in St. George, UT. He was born January 14, 1955, in Murray, UT to Walter Charles Buhler and Kate Kunz. He married Wendy Leona Tisdale on April 28, 1984, in St. George, and later sealed in the St. George, UT Temple on April 28, 2003.
Mike was raised in Montpelier, ID until he was 8 years old. They moved to St. George, UT where Mike attended and graduated from Dixie High School in 1973, where he lettered in football. He attended 1 year of college at Dixie College. He then began working for St. George City, and later owned and operated Buhler Construction alongside his brother, Charles "Chuck" Buhler until 2000. He then started Diamond Bar T Trucking and worked for many trucking companies until 2014.
Mike had a love for fishing, camping, and anything outdoors. He also had a great love for classic cars and semis. He had a great love for all his friends and family, especially his grandchildren.
Mike is survived by his wife of 39 years, Wendy; children: Shaun (Amanda) Buhler, Kanab, UT and Rochelle Colmenero, Cedar City, UT; and grandchildren: Bailee, Kennedy, Axton and AmRee.
Mike is preceded in death by his parents, Walter & Kate Buhler; brother, Charles (Chuck) Buhler; niece, Dixie Buhler; father-in-law, John Tisdale; and mother-in-law, Ilona (Rulen) Petty.
A visitation will be held Thursday, July 27, 2023, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd., St. George UT, 84770.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 28, 2023, at 10 am, at the Leeds LDS Chapel, 75 North Main Street, Leeds UT 84746. A visitation will be held prior to the services from 8:45 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at the church.
Interment will be at the LaVerkin City Cemetery, 580 North State Street, LaVerkin, Utah.
