Mike Goodman St. George, UT - Mike Goodman, age 46, passed away unexpectedly and returned to Heavenly Father on May 18, 2009 in Kanab, UT. He was born November 18, 1962 in Provo, Utah to R. Irwin and Shirley Goodman. He married Julie Hurd on May 6, 1983. They were later sealed in the Provo LDS Temple. They were blessed with five beautiful children. Mike was a wonderful husband, dad, grandpa, brother, uncle and friend. He loved to geo-cache (soutah) with Zac, Don and his nephews and anyone else he could get to go along! He was a hard worker and any task he took on he did a great job. Mike was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Mikes greatest joy was his family. He is survived by his wife, Julie; daughters: Melissa (Mathew), Katie (Tyler), Aubrey; sons: Nick and Zac; granddaughters: Ashlyn and Kennedy; brother, Aaron; sisters, Char (Richard), Carrie (Yasuo). He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 23, 2009, at 1:00 p.m., at the Sunset LDS 6th Ward Chapel, 750 N. 1000 W., St. George, UT. A visitation will be held Saturday, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at the chapel, prior to services. Interment will be Tuesday, May 26, 2009, at 12:00 p.m., at Tonaquint Cemetery, under the direction of Metcalf Mortuary 435-673-4221.
