Santa Clara, UT - Michael went home to his Heavenly Father on March 3, 2010. Michael was born March 16, 1954 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Vern and Virginia Hardman. He graduated from Granger High School in 1971 and later attended Utah Technical College where he majored in Building Construction and graduated in 1974. Michael married Theresa Bittle in 1974 and their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple in 1976. They were the parents of four children. They were later divorced. Michael was recognized as a talented and distinguished homebuilder. His beautiful work won many awards. One of Mikes greatest enjoyments in life came from riding his Harley on the open road. A devoted family man, a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle and friend, Michael will be greatly missed, Michaels greatest love was his family and it showed in every aspect of his life. He loved his four children deeply and his two grandchildren were the light of his life. Michael is survived by his four children: Jaran Hardman of Las Vegas, Jenna (Joey) Stinger of Hurricane, Jasen Hardman of Boise, and Jayd Hardman of Boise; grandchildren: Jullian and Jachelle Stinger of Hurricane; his parents, Vern and Virginia Hardman of Park City; sisters: Wendy (Tom) Spencer of Park City, Dianne Parry of Salt Lake City and Julie Pearce of Park City; and brother, Scott (Sherry) Hardman of Park City. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 12, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the Metcalf Mortuary Chapel, 288 W. St. George Blvd., St. George, Utah. Visitation will be held Friday from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at the mortuary, prior to services. Interment will be at the Tonaquint Cemetery, St. George, Utah.
