MICHELLE HANCOCK

Saint George, Utah – Our beloved daughter Michelle Hancock, age 54, unexpectedly passed away July 31, 2026 at her home in St. George, Utah. She was born August 6, 1971 in San Jose, CA to Robert J Hancock and Mary Jo Christensen Hancock.

She was raised in San Jose, CA, Boulder, CO and Saint George, UT. She attended Boulder, CO public schools and graduated from Leland High School in San Jose, CA. She had two years of college education at BYU-Idaho. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and devotedly accomplished her responsibilities. She had special needs, but that didn’t stop her from working voluntarily for the St. George library for 15 years.

She is survived by her parents Robert J and Mary Jo Hancock, and her sisters Diane Hancock in San Diego, CA, Deborah Bravandt in Saint George, UT, Christine Fisher in Anchorage, AK, and many cousins, nephews and nieces.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday, August 8th, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 1282 W 500 S Circle, St. George, UT. A visitation will be held Friday, August 8th, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm., at Metcalf Bonzo Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd., St. George, UT. Interment will be on Monday, August 10th, at 10:00 a.m., at the Tonaquint Cemetery in St. George, UT.
