St. George, Utah - Beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend passed away with his loving wife by his side on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at their home in St. George, UT. He was born in Midvale UT on June 15, 1931 to Mike and Mary Stimatz and married the love of his life, JoAnn C. Hoffman, on August 20, 1955. Their family included three children: Edwin Michael, Debra Ann and Sherry Kaye.
Milan served honorably in the U.S. Air Force and as a Midvale City Police Officer. He then retired after a distinguished career with Hercules Aerospace, Co. During his retirement years, he enjoyed many activities including his passion for golf and visiting family and friends.
Milan was proceeded in death by his cherished daughter, Debbie; his parents; sisters, Helen and Francis; and brother Jack. He is survived by his beautiful wife, JoAnn; son, Edwin and wife Angie; daughter, Sherry; three grandchildren: Michael, Elizabeth and Milan Stimatz; his friend and brother-in-law, Ed Hoffman; nephews, Mike and Mark Hoffman; and sister, Phyllis and husband Dr. James Syner.
Milan loved and appreciated his extended family and friends, all who are too many to mention.
