IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Mildred "Millie"
Maurine Warren
August 14, 1943 – April 14, 2025
Tooele, Utah – Mildred Maurine Warren, 81, passed away April 14, 2025, at Our Place Assisted Living in Tooele, Utah. Millie was born August 14, 1943, in Santa Rosa, California to Lester and Ruth Gouldsmith.
Millie married the love of her life George Jackson Warren on a beautiful fall day, November 2, 1962, in Reno, Nevada. The two were married for 56 wonderful years before his passing.
Millie worked for the U.S. Government for 26 years. In 1966 Millie started her civil service career in Hawthorne, Nevada, where she worked as a munition handler. The years spent in Hawthorne were wonderful and cherished years where Millie and her family made special memories and special friendships that would last a lifetime. In 1980 she moved to Dugway, Utah where she worked for the Army Test and Evaluation Department as a Test Officer where she helped test products to ensure the safety of soldiers. Dugway was also a special place for Millie and her family where many cherished memories and friendships were also formed.
Millie loved and cherished the time spent with her family and friends. As a younger woman she enjoyed camping, playing softball and bowling. She loved to dance with her husband George to all the classics of the 50's. She also loved tending her roses and quilting. Millie was a cherished part of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren's lives.
Millie is survived by her children: Susan (Larry) Hampton, Michael (Patricia) Warren, Jody (Bobby) Lopez and Keith (Candi) Warren; grandchildren: Jason (Brandie) Lopez, Kelly (Jeremie) Barber, Jeramy (Jami) Manning, Tawny Lopez, Sydney (Nate) Millet and Hannah Warren; 15 great-grandchildren; and brother, Marshall Gouldsmith.
Millie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bill and Maurine Anelli; parents, Lester and Ruth Gouldsmith; beloved husband, George J. Warren; beloved daughter, Lori Manning; sisters: Donna Jensen, Virginia Anderson; and grandson, Daniel Hampton.
In our hearts, Millie will remain a vibrant spirit filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
