Montana Chenovic Corlett passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2015 in Salt Lake City surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on December 7, 1932 in Cedar City to Peter Chenovic and Esther Earl. Tana married the love of her life, Charles "Bud" Corlett in 1951 and celebrated more than 60 years together happily. Tana spent her childhood in Virgin, Utah where she was raised and developed a bond that would last a lifetime with her dear father Pete. Tana settled down with her sweetheart and began to raise a family in Cedar City, where she became a dedicated mother to her three sons. Tana and her family moved up to Salt Lake City where they would finally plant their roots. She became a grandmother and dedicated all of her time to help raising her grandchildren. Tana enjoyed nothing more than the ability to support her grandchildren in the different activities that they took part in. Tana was the cornerstone of her family and was at her happiest when the people she loved surrounded her. She is survived by her husband, Bud Corlett; her three sons: Paul (Cydne), Boyd (Jean), and Kent (Milka); seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and her siblings: Kathlenn Wilson and Marilyn (Malin) Gardner. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Metcalf Hurricane Valley Mortuary, 140 North Main Street, Hurricane, Utah. A visitation will be held Tuesday, prior to services, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment will be in the Virgin Cemetery, Virgin, Utah.
