Enterprise, Utah - Myrtle Ollie Barlocker Singleton, age 77, passed away March 15, 2013 in St. George, Utah after a two year battle with cancer. She was born November 21, 1935 in Enterprise, Utah to Ernest Emil and Iola Terry Barlocker. She married Harold L. Singleton in 1952. Their marriage was later solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple in 1957.

She was raised in Enterprise and attended the public schools in Enterprise. She has been a life long member of the LDS Church. She served in many callings with many years in the Relief Society. In their senior years, she and her husband served a mission to the Iowa De Moines Mission.

She lived her entire life in Enterprise except for two years when Harolds employment took them to other locations. They were avid life long RV'ers and enjoyed many wonderful places in their motor home with their friends. They are especially fond of Arizona in January. She and her husband were snow birds with a winter home in St. George and a summer home in Enterprise. She was a familiar site around Enterprise and St. George as she satisfied her passion for walking. She enjoyed raising roses and loved to share them. She enjoyed the outdoors and spent a lot of time on their 4-wheeler.

Her profession was wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She kept better track of her 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren than their parents did and will be greatly missed by them. No one took care of them like "grandma."

Myrtle is survived by her husband of 60 years, Harold; her two sons: Michael (Dori) of Enterprise and Lee (Shellie) of Toquerville; two daughters: Ilene (Kendall) Simkins of Enterprise and Sharon (Mark) Thomas of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and brother, Leo Barlocker of Enterprise.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Enterprise LDS Stake Center, 80 South Center Street, Enterprise, Utah. Visitations will be held Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd. and on Wednesday, prior to services, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Stake Center.
