IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Nadine Jeppesen
Adams
October 6, 1937 – December 15, 2024
Nadine Jeppesen Adams, 87, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2024, surrounded by family. She was born on October 6, 1937, in Rexburg, Idaho, to James and Emma Jeppesen. On September 5, 1956, she married the love of her life, VeLoy Olson Adams, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Together they built a legacy of love, service, and family. Nadine was raised in Driggs, Idaho, and spent the last 40 years of her life in St. George, Utah.
A lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Nadine found great joy in serving her community, living her faith, and volunteering at the temple. Nadine never sought attention or recognition. Only those closest to her understand the level of service she provided to her family and people all over the world. Very few human beings have graced this earth and been as selfless, kind, and gentle as Nadine. She exemplified Christ better than anyone we know. Never an unkind word, always present while with family and friends, always looking to serve, an incredible listener and a humility like no other. Nadine was a very private person, but her unconditional love, service, and example will forever inspire those fortunate enough to have known her. She leaves a heart aching void that will be impossible to fill, but her sweet life and legacy will live in our hearts forever.
Mom, as your kids, we love, admire and honor you. We are very aware of the challenges you were dealt in this life. You never complained. You just kept your head up and endured to your very last breath. You worked so hard for us and we are so happy you can now rest with the love of your life. There will never be another one like you. We are so proud to call you our Mom. Words can't describe how much we miss you. We look forward to the day we'll be together again.
Nadine is survived by her children: Charlene Daniels, Laura Jane Layton, Ned Adams, Frank Adams, DJ Adams, Kathryn Brooksby, Patrice Taylor, and Becky Smith; 17 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; along with her siblings: Connie Nelson and Lyle Jeppesen. She was preceded in death by her husband, V.O. Adams and her parents, James and Emma Jeppesen.
In Nadine's true humanitarian fashion, in lieu of sending flowers she would want you to find someone to serve.
Nadine wished to be laid to rest surrounded by family and close friends in a simple graveside service. Graveside service will be held Friday, December 27, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the St. George City Cemetery, 650 East Tabernacle Street, St. George, Utah.
