Nancy attended Hamilton High School in West Los Angeles and graduated as a Registered Nurse from the California Hospital School of Nursing.

Nancy married Peter Freund on March 17, 1967 and moved to Valencia in 1968 where she resided for the remainder of her life. She attended Grace Baptist Church with many dear friends and family.

Nancy enjoyed a rewarding career as a RN. She served at Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital for 19 years, and for 8 years as a Case Manager for Anthem Blue Cross.

Her passions included entertaining friends, cooking, Bible studies, traveling, walking, sewing, quilting, knitting, and gardening.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 53 years Peter Freund, her daughter Kristina and husband Kevin Jurkowski, her son Eric and wife Christen Freund, and her four precious grandchildren Katie and Kyle Jurkowski, and Caleb and Abbey Freund.  She is also survived by her sister Janice and husband Steve Stimson, sister Joanne and husband Chip Notagiacomo, brother-in-law Monte Thornburg, cousin Carolyn Mathisen, and many adoring nieces and nephews.

Nancy's Memorial Service will take place February 10, 2020 at 10:30am.
