St. George, Utah – Our loving Mom, Grandma, Great Grandma, Great-Great Grandma and Sister, Nancy Ruth Waldvogel, 92, passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 8, 2024. She was born October 19, 1931, in Healdton, Oklahoma to Cruse LeRoy "Jack" and Willa Mae "Billye" Elvington.

Nancy graduated from San Fernando High School. She married DeLuce Edward Waldvogel Jr. on November 17, 1951, in San Fernando, California. They were sealed for all eternity in the Los Angeles Temple on August 29, 1959. On that same day, they were sealed to their two children, Eddie and Stacey.

Nancy was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in several Ward and Stake callings for many years.

She worked at Lockhead for a few years after they were married and later helped Ed in opening their Electrical business.

She loved crafting and sewing throughout her life making many gifts for family and friends.

She and Ed served together in the Los Angeles Temple as Ordinance Workers for 14 years enjoying every aspect of Temple service and loved every minute they were there.

Nancy traveled around the world and across the United States with her husband Ed and their many friends. She had a "Wonderful Life."

She is survived by her son, Edward III (Peggy); daughter, Stacey (Kai) Neilson; nine grandchildren: Ashley, Edward IV, Kai Jr., Stephanie, Chelsey, Christopher, Amy, Kevin, and Lindsey; 20 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Friday, July 12, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd., St. George, Utah.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at the Santa Clara City Cemetery, 1950 Ancestor Way, Santa Clara, Utah.
