Obituary

St. George, Utah Nancy Linetta Boord Wilson, age 67, passed away December 25, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.

Mom was born to Lois Davis and Robert Boord on September 23, 1951 in Los Angeles, California. She graduated from Glendale High School in 1969 where she was involved in the performing arts program receiving an award for best actress. From California she moved to Utah where she started her family. Mom then spent 15 years in Missouri with her seven children before relocating back to Utah, eventually settling in the Hurricane Valley. Mom's passions in life were her family, gardening and performing arts. She was proud of her Native American Heritage, attending rendezvous and celebrating her Native American culture.

She is survived by her children: Troy Wilson, Heather (John) Golightly, Shilo Martinez; Rebecca (Mason) Leavitt, Crystal (Josie) Leos and Brendan Wilson; husband, Ralph McCormick; mother, Lois Davis; brothers: Bob and Chester; and many grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son, Aaron Wilson; brother, Timothy Fabing; and father, Robert Boord.

Her family wishes to thank the many friends and family members for their love and support during this difficult time.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 29, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Metcalf Mortuary Chapel, 288 West St. George Blvd, St. George, Utah. A visitation will be held prior to services from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. A luncheon will be provided for family and friends at 1:00 p.m. at the Buena Vista Stake Center, 1200 North Fairway Drive, Washington, Utah.
