Obituary

Washington, Utah - Naomi Jolley, age 83, returned to her Father in Heaven on August 17, 2014. She was the first born child to Ruben Ray & Ora Jane Ash Adams on March 22, 1931, in American Fork, Utah. Naomi was married to Russell Wesley Jolley on October 3, 1949 in American Fork and later sealed in the St. George LDS Temple on September 24, 1988.

Naomi was an exceptional seamstress and very talented in art, oil painting and cooking. She was an active member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, served as a temple ordinance worker, worked many hours a day on her genealogy, and was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She had a beautiful journey touching so many lives with her kind, loving and angelic disposition, sharing happiness to everyone she knew.

She is survived by her three children: Lynn Russell (Sherry) Jolley, Steven Ray Jolley and Diane Jolley Truitt; her brother, Ruben Glen Adams; and 25 grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Washington LDS Stake Center, 446 Magnum Road, Washington, Utah. Visitations will be held Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd. and on Saturday, prior to services, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Stake Center. Interment will be in the Washington City Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Metcalf Mortuary, 435-673-4221.
