St. George, Utah - Nathan William Twiford, 44, passed away January 6, 2023. He was born August 7, 1978, in Salt Lake City, UT to Doug and Linda Twiford.

Nathan, known to us as "Nate", enjoyed sports, his favorite teams were Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Georgia Bulldogs. He loved the outdoors and animals. For years he enjoyed Xbox gaming. We had fun betting on weekend football games. Nate attended memorable concerts. Later in life, he enjoyed watching paranormal documentaries. His last year with us, on weekends we would watch old Dr. Who episodes, horror and action films from the 1980s. Who watches Robocop at 8 am in the morning? LOL. Our last Christmas dinner together, Nate prepared a great dish! I am glad you and Mom were together on New Year's.

When we meet again, I expect to find you by a river fishing with Dad. Your new home and dog in heaven must be amazing! Enjoy eternal peace little brother!

Nate is survived by his mother, Linda Twiford; brother, Travis Twiford; and brothers from another mother: Frank Mays, Evan Mills, Josh Bearden, Andrew Williams, and Ben Reynolds.

A visitation will be held Thursday, January 12, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd. St. George, Utah.

Graveside services will be held Thursday at 12:30 p.m. in Tonaquint Cemetery, 1777 South Dixie Drive, St. George, Utah.
