Nellie Ann
Truman Clove
January 9, 1914 – June 5, 2010
Nellie was the last of 12 children born of William Thomas and Mary Jane Hunt Truman. All of her brothers and sisters have preceded her in death.
Nellie lived most of her life in Enterprise, UT. She was a good student and loved learning and later loved teaching others, in Primary, Sunday school and MIA. She also supported her husband Grant in many of his church callings. Most of Nellies life effort went into rearing her six children, and Grant and whoever happened to be brought home by them. She and Grant served 2 missions for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and also served for several years in the St. George LDS Temple. Nellie lost Grant on July 16, 1992 and never quit longing for him.
She is survived by her 6 children: Leonard (Harvene) Clove, Sheldon (Patricia) Clove, Mona (Ferrell) Phelps, Jeanette (Darrell James) Staheli, Ann (Melvin) Reed, Ronald (Marianne) Clove; 26 grandchildren, 77 great grandchildren and 16 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 8, 2010, at 1:00 p.m., at the Enterprise LDS Stake Center, 50 S. Center St., Enterprise, UT. A visitation will be held Monday, from 6:30-8:00 p.m., at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 W. St. George Blvd., and Tuesday, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at the Stake Center, prior to services. Interment will be in the Enterprise Cemetery under the direction of Metcalf Mortuary 435-673-4221.
