Norma Jones Langford
Ivins, UT–Norma Jones Langford, 86, passed away peacefully at her home in Ivins, surrounded by her family, on February 1, 2026. She was born March 26, 1939, in Enterprise, UT, to Geneva Hunt and Clair Jones, the third of nine children.
Norma grew up in Enterprise, UT and graduated from Enterprise High School. She attended Dixie College and the College of Southern Utah, where she obtained her Bachelor of Education. She married James Clarence Langford, December 9, 1961, in Enterprise, UT. They moved to Las Vegas, NV where she taught first grade. During her life, she lived in Nevada, Colorado, Mexico, and Utah, ultimately calling Ivins, UT home for the past 28 years.
Norma was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully in many callings. She found joy in crocheting, gardening, and, most of all, being with her family.
Norma is survived by her 10 children: Michael (Stephanie) Langford, James Troy (Pamela) Langford, Carolyn Lee, Laurie (Jack) LeFevre, Julie (Trevor) Archibald, Joseph (Sunny) Langford, Susan (Ira) Walker, Lisa (Jorge) Cuara, April (Nathan) Talbot, and Christopher Langford; her brothers: Rulon Jones, Neldon Jones, and Randy Jones; her sister: Janice Madison; 55 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren and counting. She was preceded in death by her husband: James Clarence Langford; a baby daughter: Rochelle; an infant son: David; and a granddaughter: Kiona LeFevre; her mother and father; her brothers: Gayland Jones and Lyle Jones; and her sisters: Maurine Pikyavit and Jerilyn Jones.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 10 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Ivins Utah Stake Center, 260 E 1060 S, Ivins, UT). Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Interment will follow at the Enterprise City Cemetery.
