Las Vegas, NV / Santa Clara, Utah - Our beloved Tavia, Octavia Dianne Ford,passed away Monday, April 28, 2014 in Las Vegas, Nevada, surrounded by some of her many family members. Tavia was born in Sandy, Utah on March 9, 1978 to Charles L. and Dianne Young Ford. Her family moved to southern Utah in 1981 where she spent her growing up years withherbrothers and sisters. She loved them all very much. She met her future husband,Robert Shrout, during those early years andthey married in May of 1998. From this union they havethree beautifulchildren, Daphne Shrout (15), Zeph Shrout (13) and Claudia Shrout (10). They have been residents of Las Vegas, Nevada for several years.

Taviais survived by her parents, her husband, herthree children and many brothers and sisters.

There will be a memorial service honoring Tavia in Las Vegas, Nevadaon Friday evening, May 2, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at the Eldorado Highlands Ward of the LDS Church, 5975 Clayton St. in North LasVegas, followed bya time to visit with family and friends.

Another celebration of Tavia's life will take placein Utah onSaturday, May 3, 2014at 11:00 a.m. at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd. in St. George. The interment will be at the Santa Clara Cemetery in Santa Clara, Utah following the service. A gathering and lunch for family and friends will follow at the Santa Clara Park on W.
