Pauline has lived in St. George, Utah for the past five and a half years with her daughter Patricia; she was at home with those she loved at the time of her passing. Pauline was born to Dorsey Edward Armstrong and Amanda Elizabeth Cratch on March 10,1927 in Tarboro, North Carolina, during what is known as the worst snow storm in history. She met Wayne while he was serving a mission for the LDS Church in the Southern States. She was fifteen when Wayne baptized her. After his mission while stationed at Ft. Upon his return they were married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple August 14, 1946. From the time of her baptism until her death Pauline was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The way she lived her life was her testimony of her love for the Lord. She served as a leader and teacher in every organization of the Church. Her greatest joy was serving a mission with Wayne in Sacramento, California and working as an ordinance worker in the Logan LDS Temple for nine and a half years. Pauline worked as a cosmetologist for over 40 years and loved all of her ladies, as she called them. She loved to travel and see new places; her home and yard were filled with rocks collected from her ventures. She had a passion for learning and especially enjoyed studying the scriptures. Pauline was preceded in death by her husband Wayne P. Kent, her parents and all six of her siblings. She is survived by her five children: Lois (Earl) Green, Paul (JoAnn) Kent, Patricia Kent, Mark (Linda) Kent, and Neal (Georgette) Kent. She had 12 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
