Saint George, Utah- Paige Cannon 89, went to sleep peacefully in the bed he was born in on March 21, 2025. He was born in Saint George on March 7, 1936, to Clarence and Rosalind Cannon. Paige was married to Afton Terry on February 11, 1961, and lived in Saint George where they raised their two children, Lyman and Julie.

He is survived by the love of his life for 64 years, Afton; two children: Lyman and Julie; two grandchildren: Tasha (Brent) Bracken and Whitney (Brett) Dastrup; great grandsons: Rydge and Sadlyr Bracken, Hudson Dastrup; a great granddaughter who will arrive in July; sister-in-law, Rosie Cannon; many nieces and nephews; and many chosen granddaughters and grandsons.

He is preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, Fred Ingledue; brothers: Albert and Clare; sister, Karen Frei; and a granddaughter, Keely Hall.

Funeral services will be held March 29, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., with a visitation prior from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West Saint George Blvd., St. George, Utah. Interment will be at Tonaquint Cemetery located at 1777 South Dixie Drive.
