Salt Lake City, Utah - Patricia Mayflower Wilde passed away July 7, 2011. She was born August 1, 1922 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Charles and Hagar Cox Whitney. The story of Patricia's life is one of energy entwined with creativity and beauty. Everyone who knew Patricia knew of her love of dance and her enjoyment of music and she found her own unique expression of beauty in this world when she put on a pair of ballet shoes. The pinnacle of her dance career was when she performed opposite the love of her life, Brad, in Swan Lake. Her humor and love of entertaining made her a one-in-a-million Mom, Grandmother and friend, she was never happier than when surrounded by family and friends and everyone will remember her fun-loving personality and spontaneity. Being around Patricia made everyone's day better! Mom the movement and rhythm of your life was a ribbon that everyone could see and that will continue to wind its way through everyone's life forever and we will dearly miss your tenacity and "can do" ways. Comforted by memories of laughter and love, we will now dance our own dances in life to the music you helped in each one of us. Like a comet, blazing across the evening sky, gone too soon... Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Bradley D. Wilde. She is survived by her children: Robin P. Murray, Suzette (Tom) Musgrove and Nannette (Raul) Jarvinen; grandchildren: Gavin and Hayden Murray, Tiffany Sauric, Shantell North, Aaron Musgrove, Brittany Musgrove, Chandra Bell, Miranda Whitney, Bryce Needham and Kendra Needham; and 15 great-grandchildren.
