St. George, Utah – St. Pauline Yvonne Taylor, 94, died September 10, 2022, in St. George, UT. She was born May 4, 1928, in Pain Court, Ontario, Canada to Leo and Edna Bechard.

Pauline graduated from High School and Business College in Chatham Ontario, Canada. After WWII, she wed Thomas A Taylor and celebrated 62 years of marriage. She had a very successful career in advertising sales. Tom was a real estate entrepreneur creating a very prosperous business in commercial real estate.

She was an active member of the St. George Catholic Church, working diligently in the church's women's groups and French Club. She was president of Interfaith and various Catholic charities. She and Tom initiated the Cinco de Mayo festival and fund raiser for the Catholic Church. Both Pauline and Tom were the founding members and managers of the St George Catholic Church Thrift Store.

Her hobbies and interests included family, sewing, matting and framing, craft projects, generally anything that let her explore her creative talents.

Pauline is survived by her sister, Simone; son, Brian (Donna); daughter in law, Jamie Taylor; and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husband, Tom; her son Greg; her brother, Eurele; and sister, Jean.

A Rosary will be held Thursday, September 15, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in the St. George Catholic Church, 259 West 200 North, St. George, Utah. Following the service, a reception will be held in Kuzy Hall.
