Peggy Jo Bowers St. George, UT - Peggy Jo Bowers, 72, passed away on February 18, 2010. She was born May 6, 1937 in Aldridge, Illinois to Herbert and Nellie Turner. She married Benjamin Bowers on May 10, 1969 in Santa Ana, CA. Peggy loved family, friends, homemaking-decorating, warm sunshine, flower arranging, hummingbirds and gardening. Peggy was compassionate, giving and caring. She was strong, courting a handsome husband, and raising two children, Steven Bowers of St. George, Utah and Lisa Darcy of Jackson, MO to love the Lord and become successful. Always able to lend an ear, long conversations were her specialty. Especially when talking about her Heavenly Father or one of her seven grandchildren, Nicole Kay, Kendra May, Steven Eugene, Andrew Bud, Megan Christine, Amanda Katherine, and Benjamin Jordan. Peggy also had four great-grandchildren. Peggy lived life fully and with passion, she beat breast cancer and re-grew her hair! She lost a final battle with cancer after a tough fight.
