St. George, Utah - Philip Austin Hanson passed away February 12, 2011. He was born December 5, 1918 in Detroit Lakes, MN to Helmer Hanson and Annie Erickson Hanson. He married Cuma Toni Walker January 16, 1987 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Philip is survived by his wife, Toni; step-children: Steven (Mima) Norris, Nancy (Dale) Bullock and Terry (Lori) Barkdull; brothers: Enos and Helmer, Jr.; sister, Martha Remmen; 7 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and many friends. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 18, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Metcalf Mortuary Chapel, 288 West St. George Blvd., St. George, Utah. A visitation will be held Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. at the Mortuary, prior to services. Interment will be at the Tonaquint Cemetery.
