St. George, Utah – Phyllis Ann Scott, age 78, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2023, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born on October 23, 1944, in Stamford, CT to Alex and Doris Carlos. She was preceded in death by her sister, Beverly Zarembski.

In 2002, Phyllis relocated to St. George, UT with her husband Leslie. Phyllis was a dedicated member of the St. George Elks where she served as the Chaplain, longtime volunteer coordinator, and was selected as Elk of the Year.

Phyllis loved entertaining and cooking for her family and friends.

She is survived by her loving husband and best friend, Leslie; loving sister, Joyce Henriksen of Petaluma CA; sons: Keith Morrison of Myrtle Beach SC, and Greg Morrison of Pawling NY; stepson, Anthony Scott of Fredericksburg VA; Oscar the Maltese; 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 5 nieces; 2 nephews; and a multitude of loving friends.

A Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the St. George Catholic Church located at 259 West 200 North.
