St. George, Utah - Rachel Almeda Clark Winemiller passed away April 15, 2011. She was born December 20, 1930 in Springfield, Ohio to Ralph and Catherine Haley Clark. She married Hayes Bud Winemiller in Springfield on August 17, 1950. They were married for 54 years. They lived in Phoenix, Arizona until 1961 when they moved to St. George, Utah. Rachel worked for many years at the Roadside Market. She was a devoted and active member of the First Southern Baptist Church in St. George. She loved to travel to many destinations through out the United States. Her love of life was shown through her laughter and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Rachel loved to eat out and knew many waitresses in town. Rachel is survived by her children: Vicki (John) Wittwer of St. George, Utah and Pamela (Randy) Olsen of Draper, Utah; five grandchildren: Jerad, Sean, Jodi, Ryan and Kellie; and 18 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Dan (Marjorie) Clark of Charleston, Ohio; sister-in-law: Dorothy Jackson of Yellow Springs, Ohio; brother-in-law, Fred Lanum; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bud; grandson, Adam Olsen; sister, Nina Geyer; and brother, Arthur Clark. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Southern Baptist Church, 326 South 600 East, St. George, Utah. Visitations will be held Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd. and on Tuesday prior to services at 10:00 a.m. at the First Southern Baptist Church.
