Rayma Racquel Rowley Stewart, 85, passed away June 13, 2026. She was born on March 10, 1941 in Fillmore, Utah to James and Margaret Snyder Rowley.

As a girl, Racquel loved to play ball and jacks, marbles, and hopscotch. Her brother James Richard Rowley was her life-long friend and support. Growing up as a rancher’s daughter, beef was her least favorite kind of meat. Racquel attended and graduated from Millard High School, where she enjoyed cheering on her classmates as a cheerleader. She also loved to dance and dance was a special part of Racquel's courtship with Thad.

She married Thad Clifford Stewart on January 23, 1960 and they moved to Salt Lake City, Utah. While there, they were blessed with 3 children: Sherri Lei, Ron T., and Susan. They were sealed together for time and all eternity in the Manti, Utah Temple on August 6, 1974.

The family moved to St. George, Utah in the spring of 1968. Racquel devoted herself to creating a loving home where family always came first. Her children remember a mother whose steady love and support shaped their lives. They enjoyed trips to the lake and to the mountains. She also loved to play board games, crafts, and take a drive.

Racquel served her religious community as a Primary teacher, member of Relief Society presidencies, Young Women president, and as a Cub Scout leader.
