Obituary

St. George, UT - Radford Albert "Rad" Sayman III, age 74, passed away on August 11, 2013. He was born on September 16, 1938 in Scranton, Pennsylvania to Radford A. Sayman II and Hannah Haggerty Sayman.

Rad served in the US Navy and was aboard the USS Helena, USS Providence, USS Oklahoma City and the USS Hull from 1956 to 1966. He also served in the US Air Force from 1966 to 1984 and did tours in Southeast Asia as well as serving in the US Air Force Bases. He retired as a Master Sergeant at Hill Air Force Base, Utah on July 1, 1984.

Rad is survived by his son James Radford Sayman and wife Tanjla, grandchildren: Brittani, Torri, James Jr. And Reis Albert Sayman, brother Thomas M. Sayman and wife Vicki and nephews: Thomas, Mark, Rick and Joe Sayman. He is preceded in death by his beautiful wife of 23 years, Peggy Jean Dowdle Sayman.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. George City Cemetery, St. George, Utah. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Metcalf Mortuary, (435) 673-4221.
