St. George, UT- Ralph Ernest Crook, 78, died from heart failure on May 24, 2010 in St. George, UT. Ralph was born February 26, 1932 in Heber, UT to James Ernest Crook and Alice Virginia Olson Crook. He married Margaret Ellen Lemmon on March 7, 1952 in Weston, ID. Ralph was raised (and raised his own family) in the Salt Lake City area. He loved his family very much and enjoyed his friends. Ralph also loved the outdoors and was a master at repairing and creating anything imaginable. He spent the majority of his career working for the FAA as a radar technician. Ralph is survived by his wife, Margaret of Ivins, UT; children: Gary (Karen) Crook of Murray, UT, Marjorie Drage of Midvale, UT, Suzanne Crook (Kirk) Johnson of Boston, MA; grandchildren: Anthony Drage, Quintin Rodger, Everett Johnson, Elizabeth Johnson, Andrew Johnson; brother, Richard O. (Bonnie) Crook of Torrance, CA; sister, Kathleen Crook (Al) Frankman, of Rexburg, ID. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S. State St., Murray, UT. A visitation will be held in St. George on Monday, May 31, 2010 from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 W. St. George Blvd. and a second visitation will be held in Murray on Tuesday from 12:00 to 12:45 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, prior to services.
