Veyo, UT - Ray S. Davies, Jr., age 86, passed away on February 18, 2012 in Veyo, Utah. He was born on April 15, 1925 in Oxnard, California to Lena Herbison Davies and Ray S. Davies, Sr.

He served in the US Navy and was a WWII Veteran. Before moving to Veyo, Utah he had lived in Las Vegas, Nevada for 42 years. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and was an avid fisherman.

He is survived by his son, Steve Davies of Las Vegas, NV and sweetheart, Janet St. Germain of Veyo, UT. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Ardath, Hugh, Dorothy and John.

A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd., St. George, UT.
