After a valiant battle against Parkinson's disease, Ricardo De Los Santos passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on June 25, 2025.

Ricardo was born in Corpus Christie, Texas and although he only lived there until his 12th birthday, he was thoroughly Tex-Mex all his life. After serving in the U.S. Air Force, he worked in the airline industry for over 30 years. He loved to cook, dance, enjoy the outdoors and late in life, play the Native American Flute. More than anything Ricardo loved being a husband, father and grandfather. Family was the most important thing to him.

Ricardo's loving spirit will live on in his wife, Josephine; sons: James and Joseph (Cathy); daughter, Debra (Allen); grandsons: Andrew and Benjamin; sister, Virginia; and in his nieces, nephews, siblings-in-law, and dozens of friends.

Ricardo was preceded in death by his cherished wife of nearly 35 years, Norma.

Rest in peace Ricardo. To have known you is to have known love, warmth and generosity.

Ricardo will be lad to rest on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Greenwood Memorial Park in San Diego, California. A Celebration od his life will follow.
