St. George, Utah – Richard D. Evans, 78, passed away November 26, 2024, with his beloved wife, Emielie and family by his side. He is survived by his three children, twelve grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Richard was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He spent countless hours doing family history and Temple work.

Richard as a Vietnam Veteran and a recipient of two Purple Hearts. He had a great love for his country.

A viewing will be held Tuesday, December 3, 2024, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd., St. George, Utah.

Private family graveside services will be held at Tonaquint Cemetery, St. George, Utah.
