Keysor
July 6, 1933 – November 21, 2023
Robert Ellis Keysor, 90, of Washington, Utah, passed away November 21, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was a great man, husband, father, brother, and friend. He silently helped many.
Robert was born July 6, 1933, in Salt Lake City, Utah to James Bernard Keysor and Bernice Brain Keysor. He grew up and attended schools in Salt Lake City, Utah and Burbank, California where he was an excellent athlete, and Student Body Vice President.
He went on to attend BYU before being called to a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. On June 15, 1956, he married his high school sweetheart Barbara Zell Keysor. They have been married for 67 years. They have six children: Kevin James, Kim Keysor Reeder, John Zell, Robin Louise, Dana Robert and Bradley Zell.
Robert held many callings for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, including Bishop. He then took his young family and moved to Logandale, Nevada for a short time then on to Utah. Robert returned to BYU to receive his PHD, Doctorate Degree.
Robert worked and ran the family business, Keysor Century Corporation, a business in vinyl record production in Saugus, California until retirement in 2001. He went on to be a consultant for many businesses. He enjoyed reading, researching, Genealogy and BYU Sports.
Robert is survived by his loving wife, Barbara; two daughters: Kimberly Reeder (Thomas) and Robin Louise Keysor; sisters: Carolyn Keysor Hill and Kathy Keysor Kellar; seven grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his four sons: Kevin James, John Zell, Dana Robert and Bradley Zell; his parents; and three brothers.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at 2:00 p.m., with a viewing prior at 1:00 p.m., at Eternal Valley Memorial Park, 23287 North Sierra HWY, Newhall, California 91321.
