Obituary

Robert Frye Lee, born in Brigham City, Utah, died of heart failure in St. George, Utah on December 4, 2012. He was 87. Throughout his life, Robert dedicated himself to service. He served his country as a member of the United States Navy during World War II. He served God by fulfilling 5 temple missions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in addition to years of faithful service at the St. George Temple with his beloved wife, Rosemary. More than anyone else, he served his family. He labored diligently for the duration of his working years to provide for his loved ones, both temporally and emotionally. Roberts relationship with everyone he knew was unique. Some had their spirits lifted by his witty sense of humor, others relied on him for a handshake and a how are you doing? . Some people simply appreciated a smile from him, whether they were at Church or Chuck-a-Rama. The characteristic that defined Robert, above all others, was his extraordinary ability to love and get along with the people around him. It didnt matter if you knew him for 20 minutes or 20 years, he made you feel like you were his best friend. Not everybody will remember Robert in exactly the same way, but everyone who knew him will always remember him. Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary. He is survived by his 6 children. Steven (Nancy), Vicki, Michael (Kay), Patricia (Carey Johansen), Judy (Randy Coulter), and Parry (Lauri); as well as 19 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd., St. George, Utah. Visitations will be held on Friday, December 7, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday, from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. prior to services at the Mortuary.
