St. George, Utah - Robert William "Bob" Mahlstedt, 94, passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at his home is St. George, Utah. He was born in Yonkers, New York on March 2, 1927, to Herman and Florence Casper Mahlstedt. He served in the Navy during World War II and was honorably discharged.

Bob's career was an administer of union trust funds. He has three children: Linda Lawrence, Barbara Sharpe, and Robert Thomas Mahlstedt. He was married to Tess Mahlstedt for 35 years.

Bob ran over 25 marathons across his beloved USA - from New York City to Big Sur California. In 1970, he ran his last one, the St. George Marathon at the age of 75. He loved his Flag and will be dearly missed.
