IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robert Curtis
Witteman
April 2, 1959 – July 3, 2021
Our loving father, Bob passed away on July 3, 2021, in St. George, UT due to health complications. Heaven gained a warrior on this day and was reunited with many. Bob was born April 2, 1959 in Allentown, NY to Arnold and Doris Witteman. He was the oldest child of three. His siblings were Julie Witteman and Scott Witteman. As a child he resided in many places New York, Virginia, Utah, Colorado, Germany and Nevada. He graduated from Dugway High School in 1977. After he graduated, he traveled throughout the United States. He did this by sticking out his thumb. He seemed to continue the traveling bug throughout his entire life. Bob had a passion for riding his bicycle; loved his motorcycles and dreamed of owning another Harley someday. He married the love of his life, Beth Ginsburg in 1988 and I am sure she was one of the first to welcome him home with open and loving arms.
He had three daughters; Jenny, Crystal and Heather whom he adored. Every Saturday there was routine in the household; we would have breakfast and watch early morning cartoons. Monday nights were dedicated to Wrestle Mania and "Macho Man," Randy Savage. He always ran a "crew," landscaping and loved "playing" in the dirt. Bob landscaped many areas leaving his expertise mark. One of the most notable areas he landscaped was the Olympic Ski Jump in Park City, Utah.
Bob loved his family and friends and would do anything for any one of them. Wherever he traveled too he would consistently make friends and always left an everlasting impression. He loved to be free and make his own rules while air drumming to his rock and roll music. He was a lover and a fighter whom would always speak the truth. He was a ladies' man that had a big heart and had no problem finding love. He married Keely Thompson, after the passing of his wife, they shared 8 years together. Bob lived his remaining 13 years of his life loving and being loved by Phyllis Shepherd. Bob drove his Harley into heaven while picking up his wife for another ride and to begin another journey. He lived as a free spirit and now his spirit is finally free.
Bob is loved by many and survived by Phyllis Shepherd; his daughters: Jenny Zahne (Steve), Crystal (Chris) Moore, and Heather (Jim) Wamsley; grandchildren: Elizabeth, Jaden, Chase; Samantha, Bella, Nevaeh; Alexander, Joshua, Madison, and Hanna; siblings: Julie and Scott Witteman; nephews: David, Daniel, Robert and Travis; Aunt Sandy and Uncle Rich; cousins: Todd Evans and Linda Selman; and extended family members: Jared Zahne, Jake Brimhall, Robert Scuderi and many friends who became family. He is preceded in death by Beth Ginsburg; his parents, Arnold and Doris Witteman; and Ken "KC" Christian.
