Enterprise, Utah - On November 23, 2022, our dear mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and friend Roma Belle Staheli Bunker, 92, was welcomed back home by her loving Heavenly Father, husband, two sons, parents, and many more family members and friends. She passed peacefully surrounded by her family.

Accompanied by Independence Day bursting bomb celebrations, Roma was born July 3, 1930, to Raymond Albert and Thelma Truman Staheli in Enterprise, Utah. She is the fifth of seven children, having two brothers and three sisters. She grew up in an extended close-knit family that continued when her brothers and sisters all married and remained in Enterprise, making for joyous family reunions and holiday celebrations. Roma met and married her wonderful husband, James Darrel Bunker, in the St. George Temple on December 3, 1948. They lived for the most part in Enterprise, where they were blessed with six children, and lots of posterity.

Roma was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many callings, of which the Young Women organization was her favorite. Roma and Darrel worked in the St. George Temple and enjoyed their time in the Nebraska Omaha Mission.

Roma is survived by her children: Jolene (John) Barstow, James Benton, Lorna Davis, Wayne (Gerri); 21 grandchildren; 48 great grandchildren; and two great grandsons, with another due to arrive in March; and her sisters: Jane Hunt and LaRae Farnsworth. She was preceded in death by her husband James Darrel; her sons: Donald Ray and Darren Reed; her parents, Thelma and Raymond; her brothers: Heber Reed and Merrill Albert; and her sisters: Alta Randall and Emmarene Humphries.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 2, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. in the Enterprise Stake Center, 80 South Center Street, Enterprise, Utah. A visitation will be held Friday, prior to services, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Stake Center. Interment will be in the Enterprise City Cemetery.
